Design Workshop will be holding its final citizen input meeting for Phase I of the Greenway Design on Saturday, August 20, 2011 at Delgado Community College City Park Campus. The meeting will be held at the Student Life Center (in the middle of campus) starting at 9:30am with key pad polling beginning around 10am.
IF YOU CANNOT ATTEND, PLEASE SUBMIT THE 28-QUESTION SURVEY AVAILABLE AT www.nola.gov/lafittegreenway under the “Workshops Calendar” tab (beige box on the right hand side).
Even if you do plan to attend Saturday’s meeting, this website has some excellent information and you may want to look at the survey questions ahead of time as there will be some difficult decisions to make
THE INPUT RECEIVED AT THIS WEEK’S FINAL MEETING WILL LIKELY SET IN MOTION THE LAFITTE GREENWAY MASTER PLAN FOR YEARS TO COME.
Phase II of the Design of the Greenway will begin in November. Stay Tuned.
Afterward, the Mid-City Volleyball Group has announced it will host Volleyball on the Bayou at the Jeff Davis end of Bayou St. John. Also, the Mid-City Volleyball Group will be hosting its third quads tournament of 2011 the weekend of the 27th.
