Update: The zoning meeting planned for this Thursday evening has been canceled, as Jesuit has just notified MCNO that the purchase has been put on hold indefinitely. We don’t have details beyond this. We will keep the community abreast of any changes.

MCNO Requests Your Attendance at a Public Zoning Meeting on THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 18th, 6:30 PM, to be held at Grace Episcopal Church (3700 Canal St.)
Purpose of the meeting is to consider a proposal by Jesuit High School to convert the square bounded by:
S. HENNESSEY, BAUDIN, S. ALEXANDER, & D’HEMECOURT Streets
into a fenced athletic practice field. This change will require that all existing houses/building be demolished. Some zoning changes may also be required.
Jesuit will present details of the plans. Neighbors and area businesses are encouraged to attend, ask questions, and express their opinion.
