Urgent Need: Program Vehicles
Boys Hope Girls Hope is currently in need of vehicles for both our Boys’ and Girls’ Homes. Transportation to and from school, extracurricular activities, volunteering opportunities, and summer enrichment programs is a critical component of our program. In addition to our daily transportation needs, the start of the hurricane season has BHGH preparing for the possibility of an evacuation– which our current vehicles may not be able to handle.
BHGH is requesting an investment in our program in the form of used vehicles or a financial contribution in support of the purchase of new vehicles. If you are interested in supporting this donation, please email or call Chuck Roth, croth@bhgh.org, (504) 484-7744. Help BHGH provide our scholars with the consistency of care upon which they depend!
Boys Hope Girls Hope is an organization that operates two residential homes for youth in Mid-City. Participating youth live year round in the residential structure and attend highly rated, college preparatory high schools while receiving in home mentoring and counseling services. It is a really fantastic program with an excellent model. The kids are required to participate in several extra curricular activities, perform volunteer work, and be involved in the community.
