In August 2026, there will be 2 positions available for the role of Commissioner on the Mid City Security District’s 7 member Board. By law, 4 of the 7 Commissioners are appointed by the Mid-City Neighborhood Organization (MCNO). La. R.S. 33:9091.14 requires that Commissioners be a qualified voter living within the Mid City Security District boundaries. Applications must be submitted no later than July 25, followed by an interview that must be performed no later than August 15. The winning candidates will attend the August 2026 MCSD Board meeting, which will be held at The Cannery (3803 Toulouse St.) on Thursday, August 20 @6:00 pm.
