For those of you who are not familiar with NOLA Green Roots, it is an urban farm and community garden with a mission that goes far beyond growing food. For the past 5 years, NOLA Green Roots has grown to be a resources to neighbors who want to learn about keeping chickens, composting with worms, or even making beer.

Some of the classes coming up this month include: Composting, making paper out of okra, Japanese eggplant cooking class, beer making, Ask and Urban Farmer series, and Kids Village – “Kids pick dinner”.
