MCNO Neighborhood Meetings will begin meeting at a new permanent location at Warren Easton High School. Meetings will be held on the second Monday of every month with a “Meet and Greet” beginning at 6:00 and the regular agenda from at 6:30- 7:30.
After Grace Episcopal Church closed it’s doors last month, MCNO was sent searching for a new location to hold our monthly neighborhood meetings. We asked around many schools and churches in the neighborhood and received warm welcome from several locations in Mid-City. This week, the MCNO Board voted to select Warren Easton Charter High School as the location for our neighborhood meeting. Warren Easton Principal, Ms. Medley and the Warren Easton Board of Commissioners has offered us space in the beautifully renovated school and we couldn’t be more pleased with the arrangement.
MCNO looks forward to a continued partnership with Warren Easton.
Please plan to join us for our next Neighborhood Meeting on March 12!
Warren Easton High School is located at 3019 Canal Street between Broad and Jefferson Davis Parkway. Warren Easton historically out-performed almost all other schools in the district and has improved its SPS score for five consecutive years. The school’s reputation of academic excellence, high attendance, low drop-out rate and high graduation rate were all factors that earned the school National Blue Ribbon designation by the United States Department of Education.
