Mid-City Library Summer Events!

In the months of June and July, the Mid-City Branch Library will be holding the 2011 Summer Reading Program themed “One World, Many Stories”. Children read 8 books and Teens read 6 books and receive prizes for reading those books at the end of July.
 
 
Throughout the summer, the Mid-City Library will also be hosting several Special Events:
Tuesday, June 14th at 11am: Longue Vue Gardens.
Thursday, June 16th at 2 pm: Teen Craft of “Making Your Stories in Watercolors”.
Saturday, June 25th from 5-7pm: Special Teen Game Night of video games and refreshments.
Tuesday, June 28th at 11: Sally Farrell with Live Birds of Prey.
Wednesday, July 6th at 11: the Wetland Wildlife Express.
Thursday, July 14th at 1pm: the Bugmobile.
Wednesday, July 20th at 11am: the Zoomobile.
We also offer Storytime for young children every Tuesday at 10:30am and Storytelling for older children at 10:30am on the first Saturday of every month.
