Several people have expressed concern about the Unity development slated to open in the site of the old Malta Square building. This (see flier) is an opportunity to visit the apartment complex Unity has already opened at 2222 Tulane. It’s a different building but operates on the same model that they’ll use at 3222 Canal St., with the same mix of half formerly homeless, half low income residents.
Tours will be at 10 a.m. at 2222 Tulane this Saturday, June 23.
