NPP meetings are not encouraged during the current emergency declaration. If you have questions or concerns, please contact the applicant (contact information at the bottom). This is the first step applicants must be taken for any conditional use application before it is to be heard by the City Planning Commission. Once it is on the docket for the CPC, they will be taking public comment at that time.
Notice letter from the applicant:
New Orleans Redevelopment Fund is redeveloping the property located at 322 N. Dorgenois Street (see attached Site Plan). The intent is to restore the building to its historic quality and use as a multi-family building with five residential units.
The property is zoned HU-RD2 (Historic Urban Two-Family Residential District) which allows for two-family developments. Our conditional use application for a multi-family building will be heard by the City Planning Commission and the City Council. Due to the COVID-19 emergency, no NPP meeting may take place at this time. Because you are a nearby neighbor or otherwise interested in the neighborhood, we are sending you our contact information (see below) to reach out with any comments, questions, or concerns. We are required to do this before we submit our application to the City Planning Commission.
The attached letter and site plan is also being delivered through U.S. Mail. Please feel free to contact us. We hope to hear from you.
Thank you,
Ilse Falk Stough
