In preparation for Hurricane Season, the Mid-City Neighborhood Organization has partnered with the Office of ServeNOLA and Beacon of Hope to stage a Catch the Basin Initiative on Saturday, June 9.
We will be meeting at 9:45am at Jefferson Davis and Banks St. and will travel down Banks cleaning catch basins on the way. We will work from 10:00am to 11:30am.
We will supply water and some small light snacks, bags and gloves, bug spray and sunscreen.
Take this opportunity to learn how to clean catch basins, meet your neighbors and help reduce potential flooding in Mid-City!
