ART SPARK in City Park this Saturday

On Saturday, May 14th, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, the new Goldring/Woldenberg Great Lawn in City Park (across from Storyland) will sparkle with 100 Arts Market of New Orleans artists, elegant music, storytelling and local cuisine to commemorate a century of fine art housed at NOMA. The Arts Council of New Orleans, the New Orleans Museum of Art and City Park will present the “Art Spark” as part of NOMA’s year-long centennial celebration. Through this special event the Arts Market is revisiting a part of its history. Formerly Mid City Arts Market, the event was held in City Park in 2005. For more information, Visit the New Orleans Arts Council Website.

In conjunction with ART SPARK IN THE PARK, Morris Jeff Community School (MJCS) is excited to invite the community to join us for Feria de Primavera, our first school fair.  This event features kids food, carnival games, face painting, a children’s art gallery, and musical performances by our talented and inspiring Pre-K through 2nd grade students.
Feria de Primavera is being held alongside Art Spark in the Park, an event of the Arts Council of New Orleans celebrating the 100th birthday of New Orleans Museum of Art!
