Hello to everyone who worked on this project, including Mercy Corps, Ben Claassen, Bart Everson, Madeline Faust, and Graffiti Graphics. The signs look fabulous! The one I see most often is the one on Carrollton and Tulane. I’m usually on my way back to Mid City from uptown, and while I love uptown, seeing the new sign on my drive home makes me so happy to return everyday to Mid City. The design is wonderful – it’s well done but maintains the grassroots feel that is so important to us in Mid City. I love the bright colors. They give the feeling that Mid City is a place that cares about its stance in the community, but that also doesn’t take itself too seriously. You captured our neighborhood’s unique aura perfectly.
