MCNO Porch Crawl Returns October 22

On Friday, October 22, from 6:30-10:30pm, the Porch Crawl, MCNO’s annual fundraiser, will return to Mid-City. After beginning the evening with treats and drinks at the Mid-City Yacht Club (440 S. Saint Patrick Street) and the adjacent St. Patrick’s Park, Mid-City residents and visitors will be led on guided tours of five fabulous area porches.

At each porch, participants will sip cocktails and other frosty beverages and enjoy select nibbles from Crescent City Steakhouse, Crescent Pie & Sausage, Katie’s Restaurant, Mandina’s, Ralph’s on the Park, and Ruby Slipper Café. Luscious libations will be provided by Banks Street Bar, Evangeline Lounge, Finn McCool’s, Mid-City Yacht Club, New Orleans Rum, NOLA Brewing Co. and Republic Liquor Distributors.

The event was a sell-out when it debuted in 2009 and is certain to sell out even faster this year. To guarantee your spot (and save $10 off the day-of-event price) purchase your tickets now! (Your purchase confirmation will serve as your ticket and must be presented at the event.) Note that MCNO members receive a $10 discount on their tickets. If you are not a member, you can join now (click here) and enjoy member pricing for yourself and a guest. You’ll save $20, which covers the cost of a household membership!

A limited number of patron sponsorships are available, as well. For information on the benefits of being a porch crawl sponsor, please email events@mcno.org.

In addition to the food and beverage donors, this event is made possible thanks to the support of Gold Sponsors Capital One, Common Ground/Unity, the Domain Companies, the Haunted Mortuary, Jo-Ann Fitzpatrick Broussard, Latter & Blum Realtors/Inc., and Whitney Bank, and Silver Sponsors Bayou Beer Garden, Hooley, Inc. and Theo’s Neighborhood Pizza. . All proceeds from the event further the efforts of the Mid-City Neighborhoood Organization. Tickets are tax deductible.
