Contributing Structures

Contributing structures are those properties that a licensed historic preservation consulting firm has determined contribute to our National Register District. Collectively they give us this status, and the loss of them could threaten it.

Contributing structures are eligible for preservation tax credits. MCNO is also more likely to oppose demolition for contributing structures, and we evaluate projects that involve them more closely.
