April 19th, 2006 by Jim Taylor

Mid-City Art Market, Art in the Heart of New Orleans, takes place on Saturday, April 29 from 10:00am to 4:00pm.  Nestled in the beautiful oaks of City Park on the meadow in front of NOMA, the market offers local and regional artists selling painting, pottery, jewelry, glass, photography, metal, textiles, furniture, and accessories.  Come get a jump on Mother’s Day shopping and buy Mom a unique gift that supports the local arts economy.

NOAA(New Orleans Art Association) fills a tent with some of their talented local artists.  Check them out.

A neighborhood favorite, Juan’s Flying Burrito will be cooking up some favorites and of course, their margaritas!
