From the PRC re: voting locations

April 8th, 2006 by Jim Taylor
As you know, due to Katrina and Rita, most of the polling places in New Orleans have been moved. Below is a list of the polling places — old and new — within your neighborhood association area. It is important that citizens planning to vote in person on primary day, April 22nd, know where to go. Please email this list to your members as soon as possible. If there are any questions about where to vote, you can call the Secretary of State Hotline at 1-800-883-2805.

A final note: Volunteers are needed to blanket the City with polling place information on Saturday, April 15. Anyone interested in spending a few hours helping out should come to the UNO Human Performance Center (Leon C. Simon and Elysian Fields) at 9:30 am that morning. For more info, call Jim Heilman at 202-258-2143.

Thanks for your help in distributing this important information.

  1. Bart Everson Says:

If you used to vote at Warren Easton (Ward 4, Precincts 5 & 6) you’re now voting at the Fern Brady Center, 1019 North Prieur.

The Time-Picayune has published a complete list of polling place changes.
